Camp Sessions and Tuition

Foothill Horizons Summer Camp offers various themes each summer based on popular kid culture in movies, games, music, and other genres. Summer Camp staff know what kids like and create fantastic scenes and storylines that kids interact with, such as helping Buddy save Christmas in July (Elf), chasing dinosaurs (Jurassic Park), or walking the plank (Pirates of the Caribbean). Summer Camp staff, Counselors in Training, and Junior Counselors create each wonderful week with games, skits, campfire fun, arts and crafts, pool parties, river exploration, sleepouts, staff hunts, videos, and many other activities and skill-building exercises tied in with the theme of the week. The weekly excursion to Pinecrest Lake is always a favorite for relaxing on the beach, picnic lunch, games, and boating fun.

Our camp has a full-service commercial kitchen and dining hall to serve meals to hungry campers, as well as heated and cooled dormitories for sleeping, a sky tower for astronomy fun and sleepouts, classrooms for arts and crafts and other activities, and a pool for dance parties and daily cooling off. Our camp offers a safe and fun environment for campers to build lasting friendships, explore their imaginations, and learn independence. Foothill Horizons Summer Camp is a place where kids can be kids and have a blast!

Description:

A black star-Scary week with multiple jump scares and frightening content.

Twice we have saved the seemingly mundane streets of Hawkins, Indiana. The demagorgon was defeated and the shadow beast was locked away. Yet, the Mind Flayer has not given up its conquest of our world. Will we be able to stand up to it one last time or will everything be lost to the Upside Down?

Welcome to Monsters Inc.! The premier energy producer for the city of Monstropolis. We take pride in providing every monster with unlimited energy, collected from the screams and laughter of human children. DON’T WORRY! NO ACTUAL HUMAN CHILDREN HAVE EVER BROKEN OUT OF DOOR CONTAINMENT. That would be a disaster, but the event of that is highly unlikely.

A solid, vibrant blue square - Competition week with no scary elements, but may be intense and/or physically demanding.

A Solid red diamond - Adventure week with the potential for some thrilling and/or intense elements.

Another exciting summer is on the horizon at Camp Half Blood! Come back and have fun with all your demigod friends- enjoy chariot races, combat drills, and cleaning for inspection! That is until the protective barrier starts to fail, and monsters make it into the borders of camp. Go on another epic quest, fighting ancient beasts and recovering lost magical items. Find the Oracle, your prophecy awaits!

Description:

Welcome to Jumanji! A game for those who seek to find…a way to leave their world behind. The jungle is buzzing with creatures, puzzles are hidden where you least expect, and treasure is waiting to be found. Trapped in the game and only one way out! Return the jewel and lift the curse. You must save Jumanji and call out its name. The fate of Jumanji is in your hands.

This week will be scary, thrilling and intense! This week is for 5th grade and above only.

Description:

Shhhhhh... whatever you do, you must be as quiet as possible. We don’t know what they are or where they came from, but these creatures are highly sensitive to sound. Humanity is struggling to adapt and find ways to outsmart them. What will you do? Run away or hunker down? Either way, don’t make a sound.

There are 2 scholarships available per session, administered through the Foothill Horizons Summer Camp Alumni Staff Association!
- Scholarship applications are due by January 5th.

Sign up now! Refer a friend , new the the summer camp program, and both of you will receive a discount.
- To qualify, both families must email fhsummercamp@gmail.com immediately after they have enrolled.
- Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.

Summer Camp Payment Plan

Summer Camp registration and enrollment are on a first-come, first served basis.

Families may choose to pay in full or select a payment plan:

Payment options and instructions are provided at the end of the registration process.
The payment plan typically spans a 3-month period (January, February, and March).
- Payment options and plan duration will decrease as registration approaches May.
Campers are officially enrolled in a session once the registration process is complete.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

The $75.00 deposit to reserve a spot for is NON-REFUNDABLE, regardless of the cancellation date or reason.

Cancellations Policy: Applies once you have registered for a week of summer camp via email.

A reserved session may be changed to another session ONCE without penalty.
- Second session change will incur the $75 cancellation fee and the new session will be a new registration.
Cancellations Made:
- 21 Days or More Before Your Reserved Session:
  - A $75 cancellation fee will be charged, and you will receive a refund of the remaining funds you have paid.
- 8-20 Days Before Your Reserved Session:
  - A $75 cancellation fee will be charged, and you will receive a 50% refund of the remaining funds you have paid.
- 7 Days or Fewer Before Your Reserved Session:
  - No refund will be issued.

NOTE:

Refunds will not be issued retroactively for campers who miss portions of the camp due to illness, injury, conflicting activities, or any other reason. This policy applies to both tuition and bus fare.
