Summer Camp Staff

Our Summer Camp staff comprises highly enthusiastic and energetic college students and graduates who now serve as camp instructors, program coordinators, and imagineers.  Most of our staff members attended camp as children and remain enthusiastic about creating a magical experiences for the next generation of the Foothill Family.

Qualified Staff

They have graduated from 4 years completed four years of CIT and JC training and worked hard to know the program well have diligently immersed themselves in the program and eager to share the same incredible experiences they cherished as campers.  Staff are coached and undergo thorough evaluation to ensure they can provide the best program for all children.  All staff are certified in First Aid, CPR, Emergency Response, and student safety.  Additionally all staff undergo fingerprinting and screening by the Stanislaus County Office of Education, adhering to the same rigorous standards as any school employee.

We maintain a camper-to-staff ratio of 1:10 and a lifeguard ratio of 1:25 at all times. There are typically about 150 participants each week of camp, including campers, Counselors-in-Training, and Junior-Counselors.

Our number one priority is the physical and emotional safety of every child.

    • We will remind your student of that policy soon after they arrive. 
    • Students will be guided by our staff and counselors to make healthy and kind choices, however, students who are not safe may not get to stay. 

If your child takes ANY medication (Tylenol, cough syrup, inhalers, prescription medication), you must fill out the Medication Authorization Form. 

• All medications must be brought to camp in their original, labeled containers.
• Over-the-counter medications must be in their original packaging.
• Prescription medications must have the prescribing physician's name and contact information on the label.

Please fill out the Medication Authorization Form and bring all medications to the program on your child's first day.

The $75.00 deposit to reserve a spot for is NON-REFUNDABLE, regardless of the cancellation date or reason.

Cancellations Policy: Only applies after you have accepted a week of summer camp via email.

1. A reserved session may be changed to another session ONCE without penalty.
   • Second session change will incur the $75 cancellation fee and the new session will be a new registration.
2. Cancellations Made:
   • 21 Days or More Before Your Reserved Session:
     • A $75 cancellation fee will be charged, and you will receive a refund of the remaining funds you have paid.
   • 8-20 Days Before Your Reserved Session:
     • A $75 cancellation fee will be charged, and you will receive a 50% refund of the remaining funds you have paid.
   • 7 Days or Fewer Before Your Reserved Session:
     • No refund will be issued.
